A: We use precise light-blocking layers and custom-designed spacer layers. By implementing physical isolation walls and blackout printing techniques around each LED, we ensure the light is concentrated only on the intended icon or window, eliminating any light bleed or “halo” effect.

A: Absolutely. Our LED membrane switches can be engineered to meet IP65 to IP67 waterproof and dustproof ratings. The LEDs are securely embedded within the sealed layers, protecting them from moisture, chemicals, and extreme temperatures (-20°C to +70°C).
Q4: Will adding LEDs make the membrane switch panel too thick?
A: We utilize ultra-thin surface-mount (SMD) LEDs that typically add only 0.4mm to 0.6mm to the total thickness. Through strategic embossing of the graphic overlay or using thicker spacer layers, the final product remains sleek and low-profile while maintaining excellent tactile feedback.
