Custom Silicone Keypads for Any Application
Silicone rubber keypads offer the ideal balance of durability, tactile feedback, and cost-effectiveness. Whether you are designing rugged industrial controls, medical instruments, or commercial electronics, silicone provides a highly reliable human-machine interface.
Engineered Tactile Feedback
Actuation force and snap ratio aren’t just arbitrary numbers; they define the operator’s entire experience. We don’t rely on off-the-shelf solutions. Instead, we precisely engineer the “web design”—the critical angled wall and thickness of the silicone membrane—to dictate the exact tactile response of every key.
Whether your application demands a light 50g actuation for rapid, silent data entry, or a heavy 500g mechanical-style click to prevent accidental actuation by operators wearing heavy industrial gloves, we customize the tooling to match. By fine-tuning the stroke travel and snap ratio, we deliver consistent, zero-fatigue tactile feedback that maintains its original feel even after a million actuation cycles.
Reliable Conductive Contacts
We match the contact method directly to your PCB requirements. Choose from carbon pills, conductive ink printing, or gold-plated metal domes. Our precise manufacturing ensures stable contact resistance (typically < 100 Ohms) and reliable signal transmission over millions of actuations.
IP67 Sealing and Environmental Resistance
Industrial and medical environments don’t forgive design flaws. While silicone rubber is naturally impervious to UV exposure, extreme temperatures (-40°C to +90°C), and harsh chemical solvents, achieving a true IP67 rating requires superior mechanical integration.
We accomplish this by engineering custom compression ribs—acting as built-in O-rings—around the perimeter of the keypad. When assembled into your rigid device housing, this silicone rib compresses to form a permanent, watertight seal. From outdoor control stations exposed to heavy rain, to medical devices requiring daily harsh chemical washdowns, our structural sealing ensures your underlying PCB and electronics remain completely isolated, dry, and fully functional.
Durable Surface Finishes
Printed characters directly exposed to operator fingers will eventually wear off. To prevent this, we apply robust protective layers, including PU coating and epoxy potting. For backlit applications, we utilize laser etching over a translucent silicone base, ensuring legends never rub off in harsh environments.
