Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for custom FPC membrane switches?

A: Since we are a direct factory, we understand that new projects need testing first. Our standard MOQ for mass production is 500 pcs, but we fully support small batch orders (around 50-100 pcs) for your R&D and prototyping stages.

Q2: What is the typical lead time for FPC prototypes and mass production?

A:After you approve the final CAD drawings, our lead times are:

  • Prototypes/Samples: 7 to 10 working days.

  • Mass Production: 15 to 20 working days. This depends slightly on the circuit complexity and our current material stock, but we will always keep you updated on the schedule.

Q3: How do you ensure the reliability of FPC switches in harsh environments?

A: It comes down to the materials and our in-house testing. We strictly use high-quality Polyimide (PI) substrates for better thermal stability. Before shipping, we run life-cycle testing (up to 1 million presses), conductive migration tests, and extreme temperature cycling (-40℃ to +85℃) to make sure they survive harsh conditions.

Q4: What design file formats do you need for a custom quote?

A: We prefer vector formats like .AI, .CDR, or .PDF for graphic overlays. For structural dimensions and circuits, AutoCAD (.DWG/.DXF) or STEP files are ideal. If you only have a rough sketch or concept, our engineering team can assist in drafting the official production drawings for your approval.
